I’d like to invite you to our second educational Forum: Healthy Homes & Families: Protecting yourself and your children at Home, Sun Feb 9 at 2:30pm at the First Church JP, 6 Eliot Street.
This event is part of the Time Trade Circle Faire to take place on Sun Feb 9, 2pm, First Church JP
On Nov 6 2013, more than 50 participants including Southern JP Health Center, Dimock Center, the Main Street programs in JP, and Vida Verde Co-op came together in conversation about how to grow our local economy in ways that do not depend on chemicals that cause cancer. Participants pledged their willingness to patronize local businesses consciously using safer alternatives.
Participants also showed strong interest in attending additional educational Forums on themes relating to making JP a Cancer-Free economy. Building upon this strong interest, this second Feb 9 Forum will focus on learning how to protect yourself and your children from exposures to carcinogens at home, in particular during pregnancy and infancy. For instance, learning how to choose safer products, free of BPA or formaldehyde.
Hope to see you on Feb 9!
