- … And YOU !
Once again our elected representatives will join with over 250 neighbors to discuss the state of our neighborhood and share our visions for JP in ten or fifteen years time.
This year Merchants, Seniors, Youth, and neighbors concerned about Transportation, Urban Agriculture and Affordable Housing will pose questions to our City Councilors, State Representatives and State Senator. Afterwards, there will be break-out groups on topics of concern for neighbors to talk directly with each other.
This annual forum has led to monthly potlucks and movie nights, and helped spark the Boston Bean, the Community Resilience Measures, the Egleston Farmers Market, the Sustainable Fashion Show, and other projects led by neighbors.
Sponsored by local organizations and businesses, many of which will have info tables at the event, the State of Our Neighborhood is an annual gathering for those who want to have a voice in the future of JP. Please spread the word and, if you have been before, let folks know how much fun it is!
