JP New Economy Transition (JP NET) is your on-the-ground network for conversation, interconnection and action. Together, we’re creating community resilience so that all neighbors can thrive – even in the face of economic downturn and climate change.
We develop leaders, incubate projects and hold events to build equity and sustainability in JP and beyond. We’ve helped neighbors create initiatives such as the JP Time Exchange, Egleston Farmers Market, Boston Food Forest Coalition, and much more. JP NET is building community and breaking through social isolation – and we’re creating bridges that connect neighbors across divides of race, class, language, and ethnicity. In short, JP NET helps organizations and individuals work together to improve the community for all.
Since 2010, the Jamaica Plain New Economy Transition (JP NET) has grown to involve more than 4,000 neighbors in dozens of projects, and has hosted hundreds of community events.
