The State of Our Neighborhood (SOON) is a public event that convenes neighbors – community activists, nonprofit leaders, business owners and politicians – to influence municipal policy including: citywide composting, small business technical assistance, toxic reduction, health equity, and food justice.
For each of the past six years, over 350 neighbors have met at the annual State of Our Neighborhood forum, a community conversation about JP today and the neighborhood we want in the near future.
